Welcome to Hyosung Innovue’s employee spotlight! Our June Spotlight is on Patricia Conway, ISM – Inside Sales Manager.

Q: How long have you worked at Hyosung? What was your start date?
A: I have been with Hyosung for 2 years 8 months starting on November 09, 2020
Q: Can you tell us a little more about your background and how you joined the company in 2020?
A: Most of my career I had been in ATM Operations for financial institutions. I came to Hyosung when my previous employer relocated my employment to Ohio.
Q: What was your first impression of Hyosung?
A: My first impression of Hyosung was great, I noticed the company was very innovative and the people very welcoming.
Q: Are there any important skills or attributes that are important for someone that wants to pursue a career as a Inside Sales Manager? Is there anything about your job or your team that you think people outside would find surprising or different in the way you/it works?
A: Communication, multitasking, and prioritizing are 3 main factors I use when working with internal/external partners to resolving issues and request from several different avenues.
Q: Can you tell us about your role and summarize your day-to-day responsibilities?
A: My role requires me to wear multiple hats. So needless to say no two days are exactly the same, which makes every day to day interesting and exciting all in one. Some of the things I get to do, include coordinate and obtain information to fulfill RFPs/RFIs that come to us from our current and potential customers. Additionally working with the sales team on a regular basis allows me to assist in tracking forecast, POs, sales and customer request.
Q: What inspires you every day?
A: Helping my team and others around me overcome any obstacles that may occur at any given time, so see a successful resolution.
Q: In 5 years what do you want to achieve or where do you see you yourself? This can be a personal goal or a career goal.
A: To be a better version of myself both professionally and personally. Enjoying life and living every moment to the fullest.
Q: What do you like to do outside of work?
A: Spending time with my family.
Q: Do you have favorite memory or standout accomplishment you want to talk about? Moment during your employment at Hyosung? With your team, customer, or event, etc…
A: No specific incident. I have enjoyed meeting and working with all the different departments and people at Hyosung.
